We had our own glass-making demonstration in English and it was only €5 per adult while our little children were free. The master craftsman was truly fascinating! A must-see in Venice!

High quality glass, supporting local artists End September 2019 There is a lot of pressure to visit places when in Murano and you have to be careful that the Murano glass isn't fake knock offs from China. I can guarantee that this place is authentic Murano Glass [look for the icon] and they also support local or Italian artists. Well done! This shop is frequented by bus loads [boat loads] of tourists so I advise getting there early so you can browse peacefully. Street level is the jewellery and the less expensive items and upstairs are the masterpieces. Be advised they are not cheap but you can negotiate with them, don't be shy. I ended up getting a beautiful fish tank / aquarium like piece [can be viewed from front or back] accompanied with a light stand for E800 that includes postage and insurance, but not custom costs when arriving into your country. [An extra $200+ AUS customs fee]. The artist was Diego Costantini. The item came packaged well and fully operational once customs cleared it. Thanks for the helpful service, friendly interactions and no pressure sales, plus the free set of earrings. I highly recommend this glass shop as authentic and high quality.

Amazing to watch them at work, creativity at its best Murano is a beautiful island that oozes peace and tranquility. Beautiful coloured buildings and houses and lots to explore for such a small place.

Extraordinary to watch them work! We came here as part of a tour of about 25 people and got to watch the glassblowers at work, doing what they did best! It was amazing to watch a man take a molten piece of glass and create a horse out of it in less than 2 minutes. The adjacent shop is pretty expensive, but it's such beautiful stuff and worth it! Take your time here...there's a lot to see!

The Murano Glass showroom is located at Fondamenta S. Giovanni dei Battuti, number 4b/5, overlooking the canal and the dock where taxi boats and tour boats arrive. This is the easiest way to reach us. Participating in a group visit with other people means being taken directly to the starting point of the visit. An advantage that allows you to save time and get straight to the point, without too much effort and without unforeseen events or delays along the way. If you are in Venice or Burano, you can get there in just a few minutes by ferry or taxi boat: we are right in front of the docking area, just a few meters from where the boat moor. You can ask our staff how to get there by filling out the contact form or you can contact your hotel, tour operator, or tour guide.

The advice is always to book in advance (you can also do it from our website). But if you arrive at the last minute or a friend joins you unannounced, don’t worry: we’ll do everything we can to find an extra place and put you on one of the guided tours that take place in the furnace every day. Do not forget that our Murano Glass art gallery, which is the exhibition space with the items for sale, remains open two hours longer than the furnace. The Murano showroom closes at 5:00 pm, while the tours end at around 3 or 4 p.m, depending on the period of the year (it is the time when the workers finish). Find out how to book your visit on the dedicated page or contact us without obligation for more details at ellegimuranoglass@gmail.com or by phone +390415274822.
